I will talk about the Barbie Basics in just a few but, need to let you know what's going with the story(Takeo & Addie: A True Love Story)! The video is done and ready to be uploaded. My computer is overheated so therefore, I will upload the story tomorrow. I will do 5 stories in August and 6 stories will take place in the fall! The first 5 stories will focus on Takeo and Addie courtship, they will become friends and very soon will fall in love! The 6 stories coming this fall will be a lot more drama once the family comes in with more characters. This will all lead to The Big Fat Asian and Black Wedding, look out for the videos tomorrow or Tuesday if not, sometime this week!
Now lets talk Basics; early this weekend Sandra of The Doll Cafe post a photos of the new Barbie Basics 3.0 line coming out this year and from I heard this could be the last! However, no one knows for sure we just have to wait and see.
I don't know whose who but, it is something to look forward too!

ReplyDeleteI see a few must haves. Of course, the others that didn't make the must have list, have on bathing suits that I want, too. That pink suit is wonderful. Shouldn't they be on articulated bodies, since 2.5 is going to be on articulated bodies? Maybe they will and this is just a promo photo. If they are not, I anticipate a backlash.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous - According to someone that was at the last convention, Mattel confirmed that 3.0 will be the last of the Basics. Supposedly they are trying to make room for something better. Hogwash!
