NOW HERE IT IS: My Doll Room and My New Barbie

After two weekends I finally finish my doll room; it was not easy never-less I had so much fun doing my little dolly project!
I cover the cereal box with this very cool duck-tape!
This room has been through so many changes, I hope you like the finish product!
I still may want to add some more stuff but I really don't know.

NOW FOR THE NEW BARBIE
The Museum Collection: Gusta Klimt
The doll is model after the famous painting of Adele Bloch-Bauer

I bought this doll at Target 2 or 3 weekends ago and at first, I wanted to switch her body
with another doll. I said to myself "Cool she has a pivotal body!" but when I got home, how sad I was to
only find out that her arms are pivotal, not her legs!

After a few hours I grew to like the doll very much,
I would like to thank that beautiful curly hair and the cute face!
Plus, the dress pretty much has a life of it's own.

I named her Lucy McLean, hope you love the name with more photos to show you

  1. Congrats on getting the room done. I love the colors. I also love how you have restyled the doll. Love her "going to work" look! That dress is pretty fantastic. I hate when Mattel does the articulated arms and not the legs, or vice versa as they did with the female Harley Davidson part of the duo. I just don't get it with them. If you are going to articulate any of it, articulate all of it!

  2. I love the interior design -- bold but coordinated. It suits Ms. McLean's personality.

Dolls Do It Better: A Aaliyah tribute Vs Marisa

This is a special tribute to R&B singer and dancer Aaliyah, who died in a plane crash on August 25, 2001. Aaliyah had a few hits that include “Age Ain't Nothing But a Number”, “One in a Million” and “Rock the Boat”. Aaliyah’s styles was very Tomboy but still very girly at the same time. This picture is very cool and down to earth, that was the kind of person Aaliyah was.
Marisa is totally girly here and is not afaird to give it her all! What Marisa is wearing: Unknown top and 2008 Fashion Fever pants.

I'M COMING BACK.....................

I did not forget about any of you. I actually wrote a post back in July, but many things have happened that is completely out of my control. I found a job back in April and up until right now I've been working my butt off like crazy for six days a week and taking care of my mother. Let me just say, I think God for my job each day, but this has been the worst summer in my entire life. I'm hoping to get my six turn into five. My health and house are such a mess. The children are always crying out for me. I need to get my life back in check! Until then, please stay bless and cool. I'm praying for the fall to come fast!

Monster High: Cleo De Nile and Deuce Gorgon & What I think about the Monster Dolls

Here I am again with more photos of my new obsession Monster High dolls Cleo and Deuce. Being a person who was never into big headed dolls like Blythe (which are very cute) the Bratz, My Scene (even though I have a few), Liv dolls and Moxie girls this is really new for me! I think we all knew about these dolls for over a month now and I never thought I would become such a big fan. Mattel really has a hit on there hands and they don't need to mess this one up, HINT HINT FASHION FEVER! As I said on Monday's post you can watch Monster High on YouTube and there will be novels coming soon which I really can not wait for and maybe even a show on TV! This is really something to look forward to
